Esterform is the largest independent converter of PET in the UK, with a wide range of customers in different sectors, in the UK and the rest of Europe. A rolling 5 year investment programme ensures that capacity continues to keep pace with customer requirements.
Typical customers in the UK and overseas, are companies filling juices and juice drinks, bottled water, dairy drinks, still and sparkling soft drinks, and food products.
Another significant group of customers produce a wide range of fluids for household, DIY and car care applications.
Customers encompass brand owners, producers of own label products, and co-packers; as well as small specialist producers. Most customers buy either standard off the shelf bottles; or where bottle numbers support it, customised designs. A small number of larger customers buy preforms to blow in line.
The latest addition to Esterform’s facilities is a full materials laboratory for in-depth testing.
Among accreditations achieved are:
- BS EN ISO 9001: 2000
- BRC/IoP Global Standards for Packaging & Packaging Materials
- SEDEX and QADEX
As market needs change, appropriate new qualifications will be sought to match customer requirements.
